Adolescent Therapy

Being a teenager can be challenging as they navigate the complexities of identity formation, peer pressure, academic stress, and hormonal changes, all while trying to establish their place in the world.

The emotional and psychological turmoil that teenagers experience can be overwhelming, often leading to feelings of confusion, anxiety, depression, and a sense of isolation.

Seeking therapeutic support can provide guidance and a safe space to explore these issues, offering teenagers the opportunity to develop coping skills and build resilience during this critical stage of their lives.

How I Work With Adolescents

When working with teenagers, I prioritize creating a safe and confidential space for them to express themselves openly without judgment. I strive to create a dynamic where my adolescent clients feel heard, understood, and valued. I employ a variety of approaches with my teenage clients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and Internal Family Systems-informed practices. My goal is to empower adolescents to develop effective self-care practices, grow their insight, enhance their resilience, and cultivate a positive sense of self.
