Fawn to Free: Group Therapy for People-Pleasers
You learned to stay safe by putting everyone else first. Now you’re ready to find yourself again.
The Fawn response is a survival strategy—often beginning in childhood when love felt conditional and conflict felt dangerous. Maybe you became the helper, the peacekeeper, the “easy” one. You learned to scan the room, anticipate others’ needs, and silence your own.
Fawn to Free is a safe, nonjudgmental space to unlearn those patterns. Together, we’ll focus on helping you reconnect with your inner voice and build the self-trust that makes you feel safe being yourself.
How the Group Works
This 8-week program blends:
Parts Work / Internal Family Systems (IFS): Meet the parts of you—including your inner child—that fawn, please, and keep the peace, and learn how to support them with compassion.
EMDR-Inspired & Guided Visualization: Revisit moments when your needs felt unsafe, offering your inner child the safety and attunement they always deserved.
Chakra-Based Psychoeducation: Understand how developmental stages and energy centers shape people-pleasing patterns.
Art & Reflection Exercises: Creative tools to help you hear, see, and express your inner child’s needs and feelings.
EFT (Tapping): Release stress from the body, anchor into safety, and integrate new empowering beliefs.
You’ll learn to:
Recognize when you’re fawning or abandoning yourself
Understand the childhood roots of people-pleasing
Meet and connect with your inner child in daily life
Validate your own feelings before rushing to fix others’
Create relationships built on authenticity, not self-erasure.
Fawn to Free is about more than stopping people-pleasing—it’s about giving the younger you the safety, rest, and freedom they’ve always needed.
